Mission Statement
Double J Ranch is an IRS 501(c)(3) approved non-profit organization set up as a fundraising organization to support the care of rescued horses located at the Alamo Ranch (aka the Double J Ranch). Alibi is one such horse who cannot be ridden but is still full of life. Smoky is a beautiful paint who had hoof and leg problems when rescued. He is in rehab and coming along slowly.
Our fundraising operations include the promotion of equine activities conducted by the Alamo Ranch. The Double J Ranch also promotes the educational activities of the Alamo Ranch that are conducted every Friday at 4 pm which gives kids a chance to get up close and personal with horses. Our website also assists in the planning and organization of horse care and equine riding activities.

Styx plays a key role as the Headless Horseman's faithful steed for Halloween as well as Santa's Horse for the Selfies With Santa Event. Styx is also the most versatile lesson horse on the ranch ranging from beginner to advanced.
